Enrollment FAQs
1. When will I enroll in my courses?
Fall semester: You’ll enroll during one of the orientations held in April (transfer students only), June, or August. You’ll receive a mailed list of orientation dates in June, and you can choose the date that fits your schedule. During orientation, you’ll meet with an advisor, get your student ID, and get an overall introduction to K-State.
Spring semester: You will enroll during one of the orientations held in November (transfer students only) and January.
2. When can I meet my advisor?
You’ll meet with your advisor and enroll in your courses during orientation and enrollment. You can also arrange to meet with an advisor or faculty member during a campus visit.
3. Where do I get the schedule of classes?
You can get it online.
4. How do I get a K-State catalog?
K-State's course catalog is available online. When you attend orientation, you and your advisor will use the online catalog to build your schedule.
5. If I want to take intersession classes, who do I contact?
Call the Division of Continuing Education at 785-532-5566 or 1-800-432-8222.
6. Can I have my transcript faxed to K-State? How do I get a copy of my K-State transcript?
Yes, as long as the transcript is faxed to the K-State Office of Admissions directly from the registrar’s office at the institution you attended. Fax transcripts to 785-532-6393. To get a copy of your K-State transcript, contact the registrar’s office at 785-532-6254. You can also request a copy by mail or fax.
