fast facts
My degree
I graduated from K-State with a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and industry along with a master’s degree in counseling and college student personnel administration. There were no minors at K-State in the Stone Age, so I had specialty options in communications and meat science.
My hometown
My high school was Chapman High—the Fighting Irish—in Chapman, Kansas. A 2008 tornado left 80 percent of the town twisted, but not eliminated. We'll rebuild; you can't beat that Irish spirit!
College activities
Block and Bridle club, college student council, judging team, newspaper and yearbook writer, quadrathalon quiz bowl, and St. Isidore’s lector. I had two part-time on-campus jobs and one off-campus job.
more about me
I’m a twin and have eight brothers and sisters who graduated from K-State. I attended the historic final basketball game in Ahearn Field House and have had many fond family gatherings surrounding K-State sporting events.
