RUGG’S RECOMMENDATIONS
A whopping 42 K-State majors have been recommended as among the nation’s best academic programs, according to Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges, the bible of college planning. For more than two decades Rugg’s has helped counselors and students identify top-quality academic programs.
Advice on reading Rugg’s: The book compares majors at more than 1,000 schools, so the names of majors don’t always match K-State’s. For example, Rugg’s recommends our program in “fashion design/merchandising,” which at K-State is known as “apparel and textiles.”
Ready to read more about K-State Rugg’s recs? For each Rugg's category, we've listed the appropriate study guides on the lines below. The study guides will give you the scoop on classes and careers associated with each major.
