The home of the Wildcats was renamed in honor of legendary head football coach Bill Snyder. The stadium and Vanier Sports Complex have undergone multi-million dollar renovations in recent years, including new video and message boards. The south end features a ProStar VideoPlus display system that measures 23 feet by 61 feet. A $12.8-million expansion in 1999 increased seating to more than 50,000 and added 31 sky suites. New FieldTurf playing surface was added in 2002.

- Homecoming: K-State student ambassadors are announced at halftime, concluding Homecoming Week.
- Tailgating: Fans display their Wildcat Pride with tailgating festivities before each home game.
- Band Day: Area bands join the Pride of Wildcat Land for a half-time performance.
- Senior Day: K-State honors football’s graduating seniors.
- Central States Marching Festival: More than 30 marching bands in the midwest compete.

On November 11, 2000, 53,811 fans watched K-State beat Nebraska 29-28 and became the largest crowd to witness a sporting event in Kansas.

Representing 103 Kansas high schools, 6,500 students participated in 1968 Band Day.
