Where to park

During campus visits

If you've scheduled a campus tour in advance, follow the instructions on your visit confirmation. Don't forget to bring the parking permit you receive in the mail.

If you have not scheduled a campus visit, stop by the information booth on the west side of the K-State Student Union. Pick up a visitor's parking permit and get instructions on where to park.

During special events on weekends

If you're on campus for a weekend event, you can park anywhere except reserved, no-parking, or accessible stalls (unless you have a valid disability placard or license plate).

You'll receive a parking permit after you register for the event or workshop. If we have your e-mail address, you'll receive an electronic permit to print out. If we don't have your e-mail, we'll mail you a permit.

During January orientation

The invitation you receive in the mail has a parking permit attached, so follow the instructions listed on it. The West Stadium lot, D-1 on the map above, will be your best bet.

During August orientation

Parking during August orientation will be in the new parking garage on campus. Follow the directions below to 17th Street and Anderson Avenue, and attendants will direct you from there. The invitation you receive in the mail will serve as your parking permit.

Special event parking during Union construction

Shuttle service

Because the K-State Student Union parking lot is closed for construction of a new parking garage, a shuttle is available on weekdays to take you from the Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium to the Union. If you have a visitor's parking permit, you can go directly to the stadium.

You will park at Gate 8 near the south side of the stadium lot just off Kimball Avenue. A shuttle will pick you up at a kiosk located east of the parking lot.
