Discounts
When you visit campus for a personal campus visit or for any one-day on-campus event, K-State and the surrounding community have discounts available to you on the day you visit.
To pick up your savings card, bring in your campus visit schedule card, which you receive with your visit folder when you arrive on campus, to the K-State Student Union bookstore’s customer service desk and collect your savings card.
Discounts include:
- A gas coupon for 55 cents off per gallon up to 10 gallons, or $5.50 off, from any of Manhattan’s 11 Dara’s Fast Lane convenience stores if you buy $40 worth of clothing at the K-State Student Union Bookstore.
- Special food discounts at the Market Carvery in the K-State Student Union. Breakfast special: country breakfast (half order of biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, and choice of bacon or sausage) with small coffee for $4.25.
- Special food discount at Salsarita’s in the K-State Student Union. Lunch special: nachos (any meat) and a 22-ounce fountain drink for $6.50.
- Ballard’s Sporting Goods in Aggieville offers a 20 percent discount on long sleeve K-State shirts.
- Planet Sub in Aggieville: a free combo with the purchase of a sandwich when you show your schedule card.
- Zotcis Attire in Aggieville offers a 10 percent discount on regular priced merchandise.
- Cartridge World in Aggieville offers a 10 percent discount on any ink or toner refill.
- The Dusty Bookshelf in Aggieville offers a 15 percent discount on all purchases.
- Shear Dynamics in Aggieville offers a 10 percent discount on any service, and you may buy one item at regular price and recieve a 50 percent discount on any other regular priced item.
- HuHot Mongolian Grill in the Manhattan Town Center features student night every Thursday after 4 p.m. with $3.50 off the purchase of a meal and a beverage.
- Colbert Hills (5200 Colbert Hills Drive) offers $30 greens fees after 1 p.m. on the Champion Course (regular $64 to $79) and $6 greens fees after 1 p.m. on the Par-Three Course (regular $8).
- Zuckey Bowl (515 Richards Drive) offers buy one game (at regular price) and receive one game free, plus 50 cents off regular shoe rental.
- The Clarion Hotel (530 Richards Drive) offers a K-State rate: $76 per night Sunday through Thursday and $90 on Friday and Saturday. This rate is not available on special event weekends such as football game weekends, graduation, Country Stampede, etc. Call 785-539-5311 and ask for the K-State rate.
