Whether you’ve already settled on the perfect profession or are still pondering which career path you want to take, come to Junior Days at K-State!

You'll explore possible occupations, learn which paths will take you to the career you want, and check out what K-State has to offer.

Each K-State Junior Day is full of activities that will help you and your parents plan your career path and explore K-State. You have several dates to choose from:

  • Friday, March 27: Registration is closed.
  • Monday, April 6: Registration is closed.
  • Monday, April 20: Registration is closed.
  • Monday, May 4: Registration is closed.

If you plan to attend the March 27 Junior Day, plan to stay overnight for the ACT Workshop for first-time test takers on Saturday, March 28.

Learn what living in the residence halls is all about—from life in the halls to how to get along with your roommate.

Get an inside and in-depth look on what it means to join a sorority or fraternity.

What’s the right major for you? Learn how your interests, abilities, and values match up with majors at K-State. Prepare to be surprised!

Want to know what college is right for you? Find out the inside scoop on what you should be doing on your college visits to make the most out of your day.

Should I get a computer? Where do I park my car? This mini-orientation will ease your anxiety by answering questions of concern to new K-Staters.

Parents Session

Ask the vice president

Get your questions answered during this session with Dr. Pat Bosco, vice president for student life. Better yet: your students won’t be there to get embarrassed!

Financial aid

Learn more about the financial aid process from Larry Moeder, assistant vice president for admissions and student financial assistance.

Residence halls

Every student will tour a residence hall and eat lunch in a dining center.

Afternoon session

Academic and career decisions

Pick the academic area you're most interested in and learn more about it. You'll learn not just about the major but also the careers that follow.

Tours

Optional campus tours and Greek house tours will run every 30 minutes starting at 2 p.m.
