Beyond the basics
Study traffic intersections, keep a music listening journal, and eat insects—for a grade? It’s true. You can also study the Harry Potter series, learn to tango, and invest money in the stock market. Sound like fun? These are just a smattering of experiences you’ll have through your courses at K-State.
Every semester K-State offers more than 3,800 courses. From this substantial assortment, you’ll pick your own schedule of five or six classes. You can enroll in courses that build an in-depth knowledge of your major or general classes that round out your education.
Some of the classes listed are broad classes you can take as a first semester freshman, and others are ones you’ll take as you advance in your major. Either way, these are some of the most fun, interesting, and unique classes K-State offers!
