Reach for the stars with the College of Education
Anything is possible! The College of Education encourages everyone to follow their dreams and reach for the stars. Different clubs and organizations will be on hand to show what we offer to both prospective and current students. Counselors will also be available to help those thinking about careers in education make informed decisions about their future.

To infinity and beyond: helping students reach for the stars
The College of Education ambassadors will be located in front of Bluemont Hall and at the Union. Kids can play Buzz Lightyear games at the Union and come to Bluemont to claim their prizes. This is a great chance for kids who have been sitting in strollers for a long time to get out and have some fun!
Historical wax museum
Come and see Social Studies Educators Club members make figures from the past come alive. You will be shocked and amazed—and you may laugh a little, too. Bluemont Hall.
The voice and vision of special education
The Council for Exceptional Children helps future educators become more aware of how to deal with special needs children when they enter the classroom. Stop by to find out what these students are all about. Bluemont Hall.
Space craze
Kids can build their very own spaceships with Legos and have their picture taken with their creations. Come test your creativity and build some sweet-looking spacecrafts! Sponsored by the KNEA student chapter. Bluemont Hall.
Out-of-this-world keyboard contests
Compete in keyboarding contests and games. Everyone wins a prize! Learn about the business education club and Pi Omega Pi, the national business honorary. Bluemont Hall.

The National Art Education Association will help kids and their parents create fun art projects. Come by for a make it and take it art project. Bluemont Hall.

Come by the Kappa Delta Pi table for a variety of fun projects like “star walk” musical chairs and other fun games. Get a snack to munch on while you’re there. Bluemont Hall.
