Becoming an Educated Person

The title suggests that education is a lifelong process. The focus is on the characteristics of educated people him: being intellectually curious; thinking critically; being open-minded; being knowledgeable about history, current events, the arts and literature; reading for enjoyment and enrichment; and communicating effectively.

Conflict Management Traning

In this training we will define interpersonal conflict, discuss its causes, and examine various ways of handling conflict. Particular emphasis will be placed on the initial step of resolution: embracing the issue(s). We’ll explore some of the causes and consequences that it can have for both the individual and the organization. Ultimately this training is designed to help participants see conflict as something to be managed for beneficial outcomes to everyone in the workplace.

Deciding on a Major
