PREMIER SCHOLARSHIPS
Priority date for premier scholarships: November 1
Nancy Landon Kassebaum Scholarship
Recognizes students who have shown potential for success in a variety of areas, such as a rigorous academic curriculum, community service, science and math, and leadership
Presidential Scholarship
Awarded for four years to Kansas semifinalists and finalists from the National Merit, National Achievement, or National Hispanic Scholarship programs
Putnam Scholarship
Awarded to Kansas students on the basis of merit
$7,000 per year
Renewable for the next three years
Foundation Scholarship
$1,250 per year awarded on the basis of merit
Renewable for the next three years
Depending on ACT or SAT score, an additional $1,000 to $2,500 awarded for the freshman year
Legacy Scholarship
Awarded to out-of-state students whose parents graduated from K-State
Eligible students pay 150 percent of in-state tuition ($7,000 per year savings for four years with 3.0 GPA)
Purple and White Scholarship
Awarded on the basis of merit to students from Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, and Colorado
Eligible students pay 150 percent of in-state tuition ($7,000 per year savings for four years with 3.5 GPA)
Honors Scholarship
Awarded to out-of-state students on the basis of merit
Eligible students pay 150 percent of in-state tuition ($7,000 per year savings for four years with 3.5 GPA)
Leadership Scholarship
Recognizes high school, church, and community leadership positions
$3,000 freshman award
Medallion Scholarship
Recognizes involvement in high school, church, and community activities
26 or above ACT and 3.6 or higher GPA
$2,000 freshman award
Achievement Award
Recognizes your academic and extracurricular accomplishments
23 or above ACT and in upper third of class
$1,500 freshman award
Activity Scholarship
Recognizes high school, church, and community leadership positions
3.0 high school GPA or higher
$1,000 freshman award
Denison Award
Awarded to out-of-state students on the basis of academic merit
$5,000 per year for four years
Fairchild Award
Awarded on the basis of academic achievement
$1,000 freshman award
Other scholarships
First-in-class guarantee
If you are first-in-class and have a 25 ACT score, K-State guarantees you a total of $3,000 in freshman scholarship assistance
If you are first-in-class and have an ACT score below 25, we guarantee you $1,500 total freshman scholarship assistance
Civic Leadership Scholarship
Presented by Farm Bureau Financial Service
Recognizes students who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to community service and civic engagement
$2,000 to $4,000 award renewable for three years

If you filled out the K-State scholarship application by November 1 your scholarship application will be forwarded to your academic college and department to be considered for additional scholarships.
If you did not fill out a scholarship application be sure to apply by February 1.
