Agriculture: Sunday, September 27

Many of the fastest-growing, most dynamic careers in bioscience, business, technology, communications, natural resources, and animal health are related to agriculture. In fact, more than 22 million people work in agriculture to provide food, fuel, and fiber for the world. If you’re interested in working with people, numbers, animal, or plants, K-State can help you succeed.

At this event, you’ll meet with College of Agriculture and College of Veterinary Medicine professors, current students, and representatives from Cargill and other agribusiness and animal health companies in the Wichita area. And you can discover scholarship and placement opportunities specifically for multicultural students.

Health professions: Tuesday, November 10

Health care is one of the hottest careers in the country right now. Of the 30 fastest-growing occupations since 2008, 11 are in health professions, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. So whether you're considering a career as a physician, athletic trainer, nurse, veterinarian, or another health professional, K-State can help!

You'll meet with K-State pre-health advisors and current pre-health students. A panel of K-State graduates currently practicing medicine and K-State students enrolled in medical school will answer your questions.

Engineering: Monday, November 23

Does working on planes, solar cars, or even robots sound exciting? Then you'll love this event all about engineering careers.

Learn how a K-State engineering degree can catapult you into hundreds of great careers. You’ll meet the dean of K-State's College of Engineering and current engineering students to discuss this hot career area. You can visit with a panel of K-State graduates employed as engineers in Wichita.

K-State's College of Architecture, Planning, and Design will host its own Career Exploration night at 6:30 p.m. November 12 at WDM Architects.
