Bramlage Coliseum

Q. Who has drawn the biggest crowd to Bramlage Coliseum?

A. Garth Brooks at 14,000 people. But the black-hatted cowboy isn’t the only one to draw a sell-out crowd. People have filled the coliseum at events including Landon Lectures, career fairs, concerts, and of course, K-State basketball. Even if you miss out on all the entertainment, you’ll still find yourself at Bramlage for your commencement ceremony.

Hale Library

Picture this. You and your study buddy are pulling an all-nighter studying for that biology final. But it’s midnight, and your roommate wants to go to bed. What do you do? Pack up some snacks and move the party to the 24-hour study room in Hale Library.

In addition to being a haven for procrastinators, Hale also offers all the resources you could possibly need for your research project, presentation, or general curiosity. You’ll have access to the William R. Love Science Library, University Archives, third-floor reading room, e-journals and databases, and more.

Alf Landon

What do George W. Bush, Paul Harvey, and Rev. Jesse Jackson have in common? They’ve all been speakers in K-State’s prestigious Landon Lecture Series. Started in 1966 by former K-State president James A. McCain, the series honors former Kansas governor Alf Landon, who was also the series’ first speaker. The best part? The lectures are free.

Between the sports, entertainment, speakers, deadlines, and gossip, there’s no way to keep up on everything at K-State. Or is there?
