Guest PARKING and shuttle
K-State is building a parking garage south of the K-State Student Union to create 1,400 new spaces for our visitors and students.
As a result, a shuttle runs from the east side of Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium to the K-State Student Union, where our special events are located. To allow enough time for parking and a shuttle ride, please plan a few extra minutes in your schedule when arriving for your visit.
Where to park
You will park at Gate 8 near the south side of the lot just off Kimball Avenue. A shuttle will pick you up at a kiosk located east of the parking lot, near the Peters Recreation Complex.
The shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will drop you off at the Bosco Student Plaza in front of the K-State Student Union. This location is also where you will meet the shuttle at the end of the day.
Directions to stadium parking
From the east on 1-70
- Turn right at exit 313 (K-177 North) and drive approximately 9 miles.
- After you go over the Kansas River bridge, exit right at the Fort Riley Boulevard exit. You will see the Town Center Mall in front of you.
- Turn left at the stoplight onto Fort Riley Boulevard, which will become Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
- Drive through six stoplights. At the seventh stoplight, turn left onto Kimball Avenue.
- Go approximately a mile until you see the football stadium on your left.
- After you cross Denison Avenue, turn left into Gate 8 (just past the softball diamonds) and park at the south end of the lot.
From the west on 1-70
- Exit right at exit 303 onto K-18 East.
- Turn left onto K-18/Clarks Creek Road and drive about 12 miles.
- At the edge of Manhattan, exit right at the Seth Child Road exit (K-113).
- Turn left at the stoplight onto Seth Child Road. Drive about 3 miles.
- Turn right onto Kimball Avenue. Go approximately 1 1/2 miles until you see the football stadium on your right.
- After you cross College Avenue, turn right into Gate 8 (just past the stadium) and park at the south end of the lot.
From the north on Highway 13
- Cross Tuttle Creek Reservoir dam.
- Turn left on Highway 24 East, also called Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
- Turn right onto Kimball Avenue at the first stoplight.
- Go approximately a mile until you see the football stadium on your left.
- After you cross Denison Avenue, turn left into Gate 8 (just past the softball diamonds) and park at the south end of the lot.
From the north on Highway 77
- As you enter the Manhattan city limits, Highway 77 will turn into Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
- Turn right onto Kimball Avenue at the first stoplight.
- Go approximately a mile until you see the football stadium on your left.
- After you cross Denison Avenue, turn left into Gate 8 (just past the softball diamonds) and park at the south end of the lot.
From the south on K-177
- Take K-177 North to Manhattan.
- After you go over the Kansas River bridge, turn right at the Fort Riley Boulevard exit. You will see the Town Center Mall in front of you.
